This 1943 copy of A Picture Book of Nature is designed and illustrated by Samuel Nisenson with text by George D. Proctor, Helen Grossman and Seymour Freedgood. It is in fair condition. The hardbound cover, end pages and chapter title pages are beautifully illustrated in color. There is tape along the front and back outside edge and wear along the spine and edges. The binding is cracked along the inside of the front and back but all the pages are intact. The pages are unmarked and show yellowing typical of a vintage book. The text is accompanied by black and white illustrations. (See photos for details.) 211 pages.
